ALYIG (Alabama Youth In Government) hosted by the Britton YMCA

Each year the YMCA of Alabama hosts multiple Youth In Government competitions. These are a wonderful way to learn about how government functions by actually functioning as a delegate to a Youth Government.

We are very proud of our 2016 HOPE Christian Academy ALYIG Mock Trial Team!

We are only one of two competitive homeschool teams in the state. The ALYIG State Competition is held in Montgomery each November. This is a wonderful hands-on way to learn about the inner workings of the Judicial Branch of Government! If you are interested in joining this exciting program, please contact our Coach, Mrs. Gillon at 256-513-9212.
